Our Curriculum

Our curriculum aims to provide a broad and balanced education for all our pupils.  It is coherently planned and sequenced towards cumulatively sufficient knowledge for skills and future learning and employment.  It enables pupils to develop knowledge, understand concepts and acquire skills, and be able to choose and apply these in relevant situations.

The curriculum promotes a positive attitude towards learning and supports pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.  We also aim, as part of the curriculum, to support pupils' physial development and responsibility for their own health and enable them to be active.

Exam offerings

Pupils in year 11 will be offered a range of exam options.  We will offer both functional skills and GCSE's in Maths and English.  English literature will also be offered at GCSE.  There will then be a number of other GCSE subjects offered including Double Award Science, History and IT.

Our timetables can be seen via the link below.
